This is me posing with my new Tag Master Pistol. I can one-hand it if I want to, but I could so that with the TMB in a pinch as well. This is definitely lighter, but not as easy to one-hand as the Drone or Deluxe, of course. Primarily, it reduces the weight and makes it less awkward for me. I'll use this when I want long range, rather than a TMB. This mod also gave me practice creating new walls out of styrene, using epoxy (bleh!) and painting with more than one color.
This photo shows the completely gutted TMB shell, with the missile silo already removed, and the new walls already in place and sanded. This was pretty tricky work. On half I used epoxy, which was a HUGE pain in the butt. It didn't hold well until it set, which took WAY too long. It sanded down nicely, though. The other half I just decided to hot-glue the crap out of it. It wasn't as nice for the finished product, but it was a lot easier to apply and work with.
This close up of the walls shows more detail, as well as how I used "fingers" of styrene sheet on both halves to help keep them aligned after they come together. I did this because I wanted to be able to open it up again if I ever decide to make more modifications or need to make a repair. Without the fingers, the two panels would be very difficult to keep lined up.

The beginning of the painting process. I did all the removable parts in Nickel FUSION, and then the front end of the TMB to get the LT circle area on each side.
I masked off the silver circles on the main shell, and painted the rest Blue FUSION.
I then covered all parts in a few coats of Prism effect FUSION to give them extra sparkle. This photo shows all painted parts while curing.
I couldn't wait a full week to assemble it. A couple days after painting, I carefully assembled it. After a little tweaking of the new walls on the inside, I managed to get it all together nicely.
